Christmas at Revolutions Transport Museum
Every day during December right up to Christmas Eve, you can pop into the Revolutions Transport Museum at Whiteman Park to get your craft on.
For a gold coin donation you can make Christmas cards, paper lanterns and pin a wheel on the Christmas Tree, plus countdown to Christmas with a different advent calendar all about transport! Why not pack a picnic and make a day of it… there’s nearly 4,000 hectares of natural bushland and leisure facilities to enjoy in our northern suburbs this summer.

Dig it with coffee
Zamia Cafe, Kings Park
If you’re keen to spruce up your garden with some waterwise natives these holidays, and love a coffee (who doesn’t?), this is for you!
Hosted by a Kings Park horticulturalist in conjunction with the Kings Park Volunteer Master Gardeners, you will receive practical gardening advice and insight into Kings Park’s stunning Backyard Botanicals Garden plus a ‘grow-me-at-home’ display that demonstrates how easy it is for you to grow your own WA native plants at home.

BAZAAR Christmas Market
Fremantle Arts Centre
Did somebody say three days of markets? Held outdoors in the leafy grounds of the Fremantle Arts Centre is the fun Bazaar markets where you can nab a locally made goodie or two, or three!
Fifty of WA’s most talented designers and makers will be there selling handmade jewellery, fashion, ceramics, sculpture, woodwork, textiles and more. You can also unwind with a bar, delicious food and a DJ. It all kicks off on Friday between 5pm – 9pm and continues on Saturday and Sunday between 9am – 5pm. Will you be shopping and supporting local these holidays?

The annual Christmas pageant is an institution in Perth and a free festive favourite for families. The floats and costumes are always so colourful and the crowd provides a great sense of community. This year there will be a surprise new float and a special guest making an appearance.
All of the action is happening on St Georges Terrace and road closures apply. Get in early and find a spot to watch all the fun go by.

Victoria Quay Christmas Carnival
Peter Hughes Drive, Fremantle
Open 3pm – 9pm
Down in Freo, the Quay to Summer program kicks off with a fun-packed carnival of rides, live music, food and family-friendly entertainment.
Victoria Quay is dockside in our beautiful Port city and the carnival brings all the fun with free rides, elf shows, skate workshops, face painting, giant bubbles and of course, a visit from Santa himself.
They’ll be food trucks and WA Samba will be on hand for some upbeat entertainment. Be sure to look out on how you can win a family trip to Rotto just by attending.

Polo in the City
Langley Park, Perth CBD
Before the reindeer hooves hit our shores this month, Perth will welcome horses for a fun and fabulous day of polo at Langley Park. When you’re not watching the action, you can meet the meet the players, soak up the day’s festivities including tunes from the resident band and DJ. And you can try your hand at Fashion on the Field and indulge in a range of food and beverage options.
This style of polo is called urban polo which plays on a smaller field meaning you are closer to the action for more exciting viewing!

Manjimup Cherry Harmony Festival
Fancy a trip out of town this month? Head along to check out all the diversity that our Southern Forests Region has to offer.
The Cherry Harmony Festival in Manjimup has markets for those last minute gifts, street parades, competitions, live music, fashion parades and cooking master classes from visiting chefs. We love the sound of the cherry pip spitting competition… who doesn’t love cherries this time of year?
Most of the festival events are free but some are ticketed.

Optus Stadium Christmas Tour
Treat your tribe to a festive behind the scenes tour of our new stadium. The Christmas elves will take you to the stadium’s highest vantage point to soak up the views over the Swan River and Perth City and the stadium itself. There’s lots to see in the 90-minute tour and you’ll get to enjoy a magical Christmas light show at the end.
