Now that Game of Thrones is over, what are you going to do with your life? We know that there are rumours of some spinoff shows in the making, but judging by George R.R. Martin’s normal writing pace, we’ll be waiting a long time before we see anything!
So what can you do to cure your withdrawal symptoms? See Game of Thrones Perth in the flesh, of course! But not just see it, experience it. And the best way to do that, short of getting a pet dragonor being in an incestuous relationship with your twin, is at the upcoming Thrones: GoT inspired immersive theatre and dinner show event that is happening right here in Perth!
From the team that brought you Santa’s Enchanted Wardrobe and the Wizard’s Fantastic Feast, this fun show inspired by the Game of Thrones tv series is an immersive theatre experience that will make you feel like you are an extra in the show! This is not just “dinner and a show”, this is an interactive experience that is perfect for anyone obsessed with the Game of Thrones series. Warning: this show is not for the faint-hearted! Like the GoT television series, you can expect action,
excitement, amazing costumes, bad language and maybe even a “murder” or two.
During the show, you are cordially invited to celebrate King Jaffrey’s wedding (not a typo!), where you can experience a medieval-style feast and celebration, but with a game of thrones twist! As a (dis)honoured guest, you may find yourself guilty of high treason and be at the mercy of the unmerciful King Jaffrey himself, or the Faith Militant might extract punishment on you for unruliness or unholy acts, so be sure to be on your best behaviour!
You can expect magical fire-breathers, trials by combat, jesters and dancers, jousting knights and even a Pidgeon pie (with real birds!), all while you enjoy a 3-course set menu meal and the amazing Game of Thrones Perth, medieval atmosphere! This show would be the perfect night out for those that have an enormous GoT-shaped hole in their life now that the series has finished, or the ASOIAF-obsessed friend that we all have. Either way, it is set to be a fantastic show! There is even a custom made sword throne – specifically made for this event (King Jaffrey may even let you sit on it!)
Let us know if you get to go to the show and what you think! We love to get your feedback by tagging #perthhappenings in your GOT pics… Make sure to stay on King Jaffrey’s good side though, so you are still here by the end of the show!
