Join a small group of new friends at Men’s School along with our expert instructors for unique experience that will help you learn new skills, challenge yourself, and see a different side of life.
Each of the four event tickets is sold separately, please purchase a ticket for each event you plan to attend.
All events are within the Perth area and full details of locations and meeting points will be provided in the order confirmation.
Week 1: Escape the Island (Saturday, 14/3/20, 9:00 to 12:00)
Location: Heirisson Island, Perth
Learn new skills such as navigation using a map and compass, tying knots, making camp, creating clean drinking water and team problem-solving activities to build a raft and escape the island! Followed by light included lunch on Burswood foreshore. The session will be led by an ex-SAS serviceman with over 30 years’ experience.
Please arrive at 8:30 for this first event to check in and meet the group.

Outdoor experiential learning and adventure specialists since 1984. Adventure Out helps people reconnect with themselves, nature and others via adventurous outdoor programs.
Week 2: Abseiling (Saturday, 21/3/20, 9:00 to 13:00)
Location: Mountain Quarry, Boya
Visit the beautiful surrounds of Mountain Quarry in Boya where we will learn safety skills and the fundamentals of rigging and abseiling, followed by an abseil session down a smaller, 20m Introductory Wall and a larger 40m wall. Light lunch and snacks included.

Spacechameleon Adventure Co are a small company with a funny name, but with a serious appetite for adventure, and a desire to share this with you. Their motto is simple: “ adventure adapted to suit space and need ”. They specialise in adventure activities based around roping and team building, catering to individuals, small and large groups.
Week 3: Urban Wilderness Skills (Saturday, 28/3/20, 14:00 to 17:00)
Join the Wild Movement and reconnect with nature as we learn about the philosophy or rewilding while learning skills such as cordage making, foraging for edible weeds, team challenges in a ‘Survivor’-style setting and cooking a healthy meal in the natural environment, all in the relaxing setting of a large rural property located in the northern suburbs of Perth.

Wild Movement Perth exists to create a culture of people in Perth around Rewilding. They hope to reconnect people back with what it means to be human and understand how we fit into the web of life through Natural Movement, Nature Connection & Earth Based Skills.
Week 4: Cooking and Nutrition Hands-on Class (Saturday, 4/4/20, 10:00 to 13:00)
Location: No Menu Finest Italian 448 restaurant, Highgate
Learn to prepare healthy, low-carb meals that are easy to make in a fun and engaging session where we will learn more about nutrition and its effects on the body and mind. Followed by a sit-down meal where we sample our own creations in one of Perth’s favourite restaurants – No Menu in Highgate.

Paul is a Nutritional Consultant & Low Carb Chef. He is a Natural Medicine Practitioner and has many years experience working with well-known organisations, presenting and educating on natural health and food as medicine.
