Keeping it real in our City

The Tea Crowd

There is nothing better than sitting down after a hectic day, or relaxing on a Sunday morning with a nice cup of tea, right?

Well if you love tea, then you need to check out The Tea Crowd!

This local Perth business is run by Jodie who launched The Tea Crowd mid-last year, inspired by her love of all things tea! The Tea Crowd creates their own hand-blended, small batch teas that all completely organic with no artificial flavourings.

“Everything you see in your cup is what you get in your tea - there is nothing hidden. Synthetic flavourings are added to a lot to teas and I wanted to bring it back to a more natural cuppa and a tea that you want to take time out and enjoy like a daily ritual.” says Jodie.

There are heaps of gorgeous flavours to choose from – our favourites are ‘Apple Pie’ with apple, ginger and sweet cinnamon, ‘Choc Mint’ featuring pops of delicious chocolate and mint or ‘Island Life’ green tea with lime and coconut…. Yum!

“Tea drinking means different things to people - for some it's a way to relax and take a time out individually or a great ritual between friends to 'catch up over a cuppa' - and I would love for it to be my blends they choose to do that with.“ says Jodie.

You can buy any of The Tea Crowd’s delicious blends via their website, or you can have a cuppa or purchase at Six Willows Cafe in Willetton and you can also purchase from Cafe Collective in Duncraig, Herrington Massage in Cannington, Dylan Springs Design Emporium in Fremantle and the Eco Pop Up in Enex100 in Perth CBD, just to name a few!

You can also check out The Tea Crowd at the Perth Makers Markets in Applecross on 23 September, 4 November and 16 December, where they will be sharing a stall with the super delicious Baked By Erica.

So if you want your next tea break to be tea-riffic then visit https://theteacrowd.com.au/ to check out the great selection and remember to tag us in your purchase pics!

Hi! I’m a country girl at heart though having moved around a lot when I was young; I’ve lived in the Goldfields, the Wheatbelt and the Avon Valley, but I’ve spent most of my life in Busselton in the South West.

I love going to live gigs and events, and on weekends you’ll often find me in cafes embarrassing my boyfriend by taking terrible photos of our food #brunchclub or taking way too many selfies with Cleo.

I love discovering new things to do in Perth and trying new places, which is why I’m so excited to be writing for Perth Happenings, where I can do just that!
