Yoga and Brunch at Springs Kitchen

What could top waking up early on a Saturday and starting your weekend with a morning of yoga? Well, what if instead, you started with rooftop yoga? And then followed with a scrumptious breakfast! Because that was how I started my weekend! (Sorry for the #humblebrag!)

On Saturday I ventured out to Rivervale to attend morning yoga on the rooftop of Aloft Hotel, to celebrate the launch of Springs Kitchen’s delicious new menu! After making my way up to the rooftop level and being greeted by the lovely hosts, it was time to unroll the yoga mat and start stretching!

The view from the top of the Aloft hotel, was simply spectacular, a truly amazing place to enjoy some yoga! After being taken through an invigorating Vinyasa flow, I took the elevator back down to the ground level to enjoy brunch at Springs Kitchen.

If you haven’t tried Springs Kitchen before, it definitely a great time to check it out. The new items on the menu include tasty options like the Avocado and Feta, served with rye bread, cherry tomatoes and sweetcorn and the new Corn and Zucchini Fritters, served with zucchini and tomato salad and romesco sauce. Some of the girls on my table had these tasty-looking dishes and said they were delicious!

Along with the new options, a few of the favourite dishes have made the cut and been brought through from the previous menu, like their signature Chilli Eggs, one of Spring's signature dishes which I couldn’t resist!

I was a bit worried would be a too spicy for me (I have the most bland tastebuds ever!) but the Chilli Eggs were absolutely delish! The house-made chilli jam is simply amazing (I would have licked the bowl if I could!) and the avocado, fetta and rocket with the toasted sourdough are the perfect accompaniment. And the eggs! If you are a lover of poached eggs, you must try them; the ultimate ooze-y yolk! Paired with a perfectly made soy cappuccino, I was in brunch heaven!

If you want to try out their delicious new menu yourself, don’t wait!

Springs Kitchen is located at 27 Rowe Avenue in Rivervale and is open all week, 6am till late.

If you check it out, don't forget to tag #perthhappenings so we can all have brunch envy!

Huge thanks to Springs Kitchen, Aloft Hotel Perth and Lululemon Perth City for giving me such a fantastic start to my weekend!

Hi! I’m a country girl at heart though having moved around a lot when I was young; I’ve lived in the Goldfields, the Wheatbelt and the Avon Valley, but I’ve spent most of my life in Busselton in the South West.

I love going to live gigs and events, and on weekends you’ll often find me in cafes embarrassing my boyfriend by taking terrible photos of our food #brunchclub or taking way too many selfies with Cleo.

I love discovering new things to do in Perth and trying new places, which is why I’m so excited to be writing for Perth Happenings, where I can do just that!
