Keeping it real in our City

Freo.Social- Perth's newest hot spot!

If you are looking for one of Perth’s best new spots to soak up the last drops of summer, then I have the place for you!

Freo.Social, is launching on the 20th of March and is set to be the best new place in Perth for a Sunday sesh…. Yep, the best!

Freo.Social is located in the historic artillery drill hall on Parry street in Fremantle and has been refurbished in cooperation with the National Trust of WA. They’ve kept the cool, industrial feel of the old building but breathed new life into it with a fresh look, multiple bars, a revolving menu of tasty treats but best of all, they have polished up the band room where the hottest acts will be pumping out summer jams.

You can catch John Butler, The Waifs, San Cisco, Dan Sultan, The Middle Kids and heaps more local and international acts. There are even comedy nights, co-workspaces and dance lessons on the agenda!

They’ll be serving some of WA’s best brews from local legends Otherside brewery and beat your cravings with 3 rotating food trucks on site, serving everything from Vietnamese, Mexican, pub grub, Jamaican grill or just a tasty snack to go with your brew.

Make sure you like them on Facebook and give them a follow on insta to ticket information and latest news.

And as always, when you check it out, make sure you tag in #perthhappenings so we can see your pics!

Hi! I’m a country girl at heart though having moved around a lot when I was young; I’ve lived in the Goldfields, the Wheatbelt and the Avon Valley, but I’ve spent most of my life in Busselton in the South West.

I love going to live gigs and events, and on weekends you’ll often find me in cafes embarrassing my boyfriend by taking terrible photos of our food #brunchclub or taking way too many selfies with Cleo.

I love discovering new things to do in Perth and trying new places, which is why I’m so excited to be writing for Perth Happenings, where I can do just that!
