What’s your favourite holiday? Mine is most definitely a toss-up between Easter and Christmas (what can I say, I’m a traditionalist). Well, that and my birthday that is, but wait, that’s not actually a recognized holiday…. Yet!
Getting to spend time with my fabulous family for four whole days is definitely the best part of a long weekend. But what if I told you there were dozens of things on this Easter where you can not only go and hang with your family but where you get to eat copious amounts of chocolate too (I mean other than at home!)!
So to make it easier for you and to showcase some of the seriously cool events we have going on, here are the Top 10 Things To Do in Perth this Easter!

1. Geocache Easter Egg Hunt

When: Sunday April 9th 9.30am – 1pm
Where: Jorgensen Park, Kalamunda
What: This seriously cool event is the first of its kind in Perth and is one not to be missed. It’s even on a whole weekend earlier so you can fit this and other awesome Easter activities in. Get a team of 4 together, pick an Easter inspired team name and track down the chocolates using GPS coordinates. 2. Mandurah’s Biggest Easter Hunt for Make-A-Wish Foundation
When: Sunday April 16th 8am-11.30am
Where: Quarry Adventure Park, Grandmere Pde, Mandurah
What: The ultimate of all Easter Egg hunts can be found in Mandurah, where the $5 fee will include your entry into the hunt, a sausage sizzle and drink and a ticket into one massive raffle! There’s also a petting zoo, best dressed competition, arts, crafts and plenty of games, with all funds raised going to Make-A-Wish Foundation. 3. Rosemount Hotel’s Roller Easter
When: Thursday April 13th 7pm – Late
Where: Rosemount Hotel, Fitzgerald St, Perth

4. Annual Easter Hunt @ The Maze, Home of Outback Splash

When: Saturday April 15th – Monday April 17th
Where: The Maze, 1635 Neaves Rd, Bullsbrook
What: A whole weekend of awesome Easter activities for the entire family. Why not spend the long weekend exploring the amazing attractions, rides and fun that The Maze have to offer. 5. Perth Easter Parade 2017
When: Sunday April 16th 2pm-4pm
Where: Stirling Gardens, cnr of Barrack St & Riverside Dve, Perth
What: The biggest and best Easter Parade in Perth is back again this year, so come on down and join in people from all over in worship and celebration. 6. Easter Craft & Gift Expo
When: All Weekend Long – April 14th, 15th, 16th, 12pm – 8pm
Where: Sorrento Quay Boardwalk – Hillary’s Boat Harbour
What: Another egg-stra special event that’s running all weekend long, so you’ll definitely have plenty of chances to hop on down and have a look. Bring the little ones along for a special guest visit and goodies handed out throughout the day, all the while you can enjoy the gorgeous scenery and amazing selection of markets and stalls. 7. Easter Markets
When: Sunday April 2nd 9am – 1pm
Where: Jull St Mall, Armadale
What: Start your Easter celebrations early and pop on down to check out the new Marquee Markets in Armadale. With heaps of fun and free activities to keep the kids entertained, food trucks to temp your taste buds and live music to set the scene, all while you peruse the wonderful wares they have on offer. 8. Swan Valley Adventure Centre – Easter Holidays Day Camp

When: April 11th to April 20th 8.30am – 4pm
Where: Swan Valley Adventure Centre, 58 Yule Ave, Middle Swan
What: For something extremely cool and different, check out these amazing day camps, with your choice of 4 days full of adventure and fun. Tickets are essential so get in early for a fantastic selection of activities for the kids these school holidays. 9. #Freo_EasterHunt
When: Starts April 8th runs till April 22nd
Where: Shops all over Fremantle
What: The best way to explore Fremantle these school holidays has come about in the form of the epic #Freo_easterhunt. The Easter Bilby has teamed up with Fremantle BID and has planned one hell of a hunt. To participate simply grab your map and head to Fremantle on April 8th and start searching for the hidden Easter eggs located in shops all over the city. Each participating store will have an Easter Bilby sticker on their window, simply enter, locate their hidden egg and the special number on it. 10. Easter Story Time by the River

When: April 11th – 10.30am
Where: Keane’s Point Reserve, Peppermint Grove
What: Bring the kids down for a great morning of songs, sun and chocolate in an idyllic location. Why not grab a coffee, bring some snacks and join in all the Eastery fun in the sun!
